IPG Automotive Opens Subsidiary in Ingolstadt

IPG Automotive now has six sites in Germany

In order to be even closer to its German customers, IPG Automotive has added another subsidiary to the five existing ones. Martin Laupitz, an experienced project manager, will be heading the new team in Ingolstadt.

IPG Automotive will be able to offer business partners in the Ingolstadt area closer support. To provide quick and effective services, the specialist for virtual test driving ads another site in April, complementing the existing subsidiaries in Karlsruhe, Braunschweig, Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart.

Branch Manager Martin Laupitz, who most recently worked as Project Manager for function and system integration, has extensive experience in component and functional integration, as well as in processes across the entire project life cycle. He is excited about the new challenge: “We can no longer test the entire range of vehicle-integrated functions only on the proving ground or the road – they are just too complex. That is why we are looking to transfer the OEMs’ requirements to a simulation environment.”
