Application process

1. Application

The easiest way to apply for your desired position is via our online application form. You will need the following documents: cover letter, CV and degree certificates as well as work samples if necessary.

2. Review

T.he internal review of your application documents usually takes two to three weeks. Therefore, we're kindly asking for your patience.  We will get back to you as soon as possible and provide you with further information.

3. Phone screening

If you are suitable for the position, we will arrange a phone call or video call. At this point, you already meet your future team lead. This step does not apply to every department or team.

4. Interview

The interview is the most important step of the recruitment process. The head of department, your team lead as well as HR are present during the interview at our headquarters in Karlsruhe. This allows you to get to know the company and address your questions to the person in charge.

5. Job offer

Congratulations, you are an ideal fit for our team, and we would be delighted to welcome you at IPG Automotive! We will send you our job offer based on our interview and are already looking forward to you joining us.

FAQ

Please write your application in German. English may be used for international vacancies and for internships and student jobs. Please make sure that your documents are complete and correct before submitting them via our online application form. Unfortunately, we are not able to consider applications sent to us through the mail.

Please address your application to our HR team. They will forward your documents to the appropriate departments.

 

All positions listed on our website are still open. Vacancies are only removed once the position has been filled.

 

Even if there is no suitable job offer for you, we will be happy to accept your application. Please send your complete application via our online application form. Just choose your preferred job type, corporate division and the location you are applying for.

 

All applicants from outside the EU require an official residence permit and work permit. These must be sent to our HR department before you start working for us.

 

If you submit your application while you are still at university, you must send us a university enrollment certificate for the current semester. If you are applying for an internship required as part of your studies, you must also submit an excerpt from your study or examination regulations which indicates that a work placement is a compulsory part of your degree. When applying for a student job, please state how many hours you wish to work a week (please note that the maximum legal limit is 20 hours a week).
