IPG Automotive China kicks off a successful Year of the Dragon

As we celebrate the Chinese New Year, we would like to look back on the impressive development of our China team over the past few years with our valued customers and partners.

Established in Shanghai in August 2015, followed by a branch in Beijing in October 2018, IPG Automotive China has been a driving force in the Chinese automotive market. With its headquarters in Shanghai and a branch in Beijing, IPG Automotive China is positioned strategically to meet the evolving needs of local customers. Currently with a dedicated team of around 40 professionals, Xiao Huang, Managing Director, leads the company with a commitment to excellence and innovation.

“At IPG Automotive China, we pride ourselves on our relationships with key customers, including automotive manufacturers, tier 1 suppliers and technology companies“, says Managing Director Xiao Huang. Over the years, IPG Automotive China has been privileged to work with industry giants such as Huawei, Bosch, SVW, CICV, NIO, Xiaopeng, Geely, Horiba, iMotion and many more.

Local projects cover a wide range of automotive engineering and simulation, including the development of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), autonomous driving technologies and the optimization of vehicle dynamics and powertrain performance. A particular success story is our ADAS hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) project with one of the premium tier 1 suppliers in the past year. In this project, IPG Automotive China demonstrated unparalleled responsiveness, providing simulation solutions with flexibility and a strong sense of responsibility. Despite the tight schedule, IPG Automotive China ensured that all tasks were completed within the required timeframe, demonstrating our commitment to providing high-quality customer service.

As the Chinese New Year approaches, we wish our Chinese team a happy and prosperous Year of the Dragon. Let us express our appreciation and best wishes in the language of the country:

Gàn dé piàoliang (Good work), Xièxiè (Thank you) and Lóngnián dàjí (Happy Year of the Dragon)!
