Sylvain Chazot (46) will take on the role of Managing Director at IPG Automotive France SARL from January 2022. The Frenchman was most recently automotive sales director at Altair Engineering France.

Following a six-year stay in the UK gaining international experience, the mechanical engineer made the move back to his home country in 2012. From account manager, to director of partner sales in EMEA, he was then responsible for sales management and defining a growth strategy for the French automotive market at Altair France. In 2018, Sylvain Chazot completed an Executive MBA at the EM Lyon business school alongside his work.
The newly-appointed Managing Director is already looking forward to his next challenge at IPG Automotive France. “I can see great market opportunities for IPG Automotive in France since the products are well aligned with the current transformation of the automotive industry.”
