More than 75,000 visitors attended Japan’s biggest automotive engineering exposition in Yokohama from May 22 to 24. Engineers and researchers from a wide variety of industries, such as automotive, electronic, test and measurement equipment, information and software, logistics and transportation, as well as educational and research institutes were among the attendees. Under the theme of "Co-create!", this year's Automotive Engineering Exposition was a great success with two exhibition halls and an increase in the number of exhibitors from 500 last year to 590.
Along with the newly rebranded corporate design, IPG Automotive Japan presented solutions that can be utilized throughout the V-cycle (MIL, SIL, HIL, VIL) in combination with products from IPG Automotive Japan’s nine partners. In addition to VIRTO, the CarMaker release 13.0 including a demonstration of the new virtual reality (VR) interface for Movie NX was showcased. The VR demo at the booth allowed visitors to experience a hands-on virtual ride on site.
