IT
The IT department is responsible for the smooth functioning and secure operation of all IT systems and applications within our company. Our department has two teams: the IT Infrastructure team and the IT Applications team.
The IT Infrastructure team is in charge of management and maintenance of the heterogeneous IT infrastructure consisting of Windows and Linux systems. The team’s tasks include installing, configuring and updating operating systems, ensuring network security, monitoring system performance as well as providing troubleshooting and technical support to all employees.
The IT Applications team is dedicated to developing, updating and supporting applications across all departments. This team cooperates closely with the various departments to understand their requirements and processes and translate them into customized software solutions. Analyzing business processes, creating requirement specifications, programming and testing new applications and continuously improving and maintaining existing applications is part of their work.
The IT department ensures that all systems and applications meet the highest security standards and comply with data protection guidelines. It continuously monitors all systems to identify and eliminate any potential security loophole. When problems arise, the IT department also provides technical support and training for employees to ensure they can use IT resources efficiently.
Altogether the IT department works to increase efficiency and productivity of the company through the use of high-performance IT infrastructure and customized applications. It also helps to ensure that the needs and requirements of the various departments are successfully mapped.
