There are mainly two ways to adjust the lateral position of the treads. Both ways have the same physical behaviour.
It has the same effect like you would add a spacer between wheel an wheel carrier or change the rim offset.

1) Change the lateral position (y-position) of the wheel in the Vehicle Data Set

In case you want to change the position of the wheel, the position of the wheel carrier gets adapted automatically.

2) Change the Tire Data Set

You can also use an additional parameter in the Tire Data Set / Tire Infofile. It is called Wheel.ShiftOutwards = < value > [m]

How you can access and manipulate the Tire Data Set, is well described in our User's Guide Chapter 11.3 "Generation / Manipulation of a Tire Data Set".

Please note, that a tire data set needs to be saved anytime it was edited. Otherwise, the changes will have no effect at the start of the next simulation.
If you want to edit one of our example tires, you also have to save it into your project directory and to adapt the path of the mapping file.
