About IPG Automotive in Karlsruhe
Our premises in Karlsruhe are the heart of our company, because this is where the three founders first started out in 1984.
Today software development, test bench construction, sales, customer support and many other functions all have their home in Karlsruhe. Most of our global team can be found here, which is why the city in the south-west of Germany is the point of contact for international projects. Our Karlsruhe-based experts also support the other German, as well as international, teams.
Our offices are close to the main station and easy to reach for customers, partners and (potential) colleagues, either by public transport or by car from the nearby highway.
Here in Braunschweig, we combine our expertise from the fields of sales, solutions engineering and digital engineering. There is a strong international focus, with an intercultural team supporting exciting customer projects around the world.
What makes us special? Our young, enthusiastic team enjoys working in our unique offices in the almost 100-year-old Rollei factory building, where cool start-up vibes combine with the expertise of a global SME. Our offices are just two minutes from the nearest highway junction, ensuring a quick connection to customers across northern Germany and Belgium. Those who prefer traveling by public transport can also reach our offices easily, and we are always close to our customers.
IPG Automotive’s Frankfurt office is located right in the geographical center of Germany, and Europe. The close proximity to Frankfurt airport makes our Frankfurt office a hub and point of contact for (inter)national meetings with customers and colleagues.
Our modern offices are easily accessible by public transport (bus, S-Bahn), train (Frankfurt main station), car (nearby highway junction and plenty of parking spaces) and plane (Frankfurt airport within walking distance).
Our Frankfurt office has a very international flair, with most of our Strategic Consulting & Engineering colleagues supporting customer projects around the world. The range of customers and projects covers German OEM and Tier customers and partners as well as international development centers.
Our presence in Bavaria has been strengthened by the establishment of our Ingolstadt office in 2024. It gives us the advantage of being in direct proximity of car manufacturers such as Audi and Cariad, meeting our desire to be close to our customers.
But that’s not all: Our beautiful penthouse office is an attractive, light-infused work environment with a welcoming atmosphere for customers, partners and potential new colleagues alike. Excellent public transport connection and the central location, easy parking and hotel accommodation nearby mean that visiting us is as easy as can be. Our roof garden is the perfect venue for business meetings in the sun, or for enjoying some after-work drinks.
The Munich office is in a prime location, near Olympia Park. This means that our colleagues can easily get there by public transport (subway, tram, bus), or by car via Mittlerer Ring. What’s more, our office is in close proximity to our customers, partners and universities.
Munich is one of the most important locations for the German automotive industry, and more and more OEMs and suppliers from outside of Europe are setting up shop here. In other words, our Munich office supports both national and international customers with sales, business development and technical expertise.
The Bavarian capital boasts four universities: LMU, Technical University of Munich, Munich University of Applied Sciences and the University of the Bundeswehr Munich. This is a great environment for informatics, AI, machine engineering, electronics and other technical fields.
Our Stuttgart office can be found in the iconic Colorado tower in Stuttgart-Vaihingen – a modern location that affords great views over the state capital of Baden-Württemberg.
In Stuttgart, we are close to customers in one of the most important automotive industry and machine engineering hubs. Located directly opposite the Stuttgart-Vaihingen train station, the offices can easily be reached by public transport or from the highway. Stuttgart airport is just a few minutes’ car ride away. Another bonus is our proximity to the University of Stuttgart and other universities in the region – both in terms of location and expertise.
Our Stuttgart team is young, enthusiastic and diverse! The experts in our Stuttgart office represent eight nationalities and support global customers. Their motto is “enthusiastic for service”, team spirit, quick response times and customer-centricity.
