Connected and automated driving is the future. The technical challenges in development are high, but with a suitable simulation landscape, errors can already be detected in the early development phases of function development.
With the coupling of CarMaker with the V2X and C-V2X solutions of the company NORDSYS, the networking of vehicles with each other as well as with the infrastructure now also enters the development of autonomous driving functions already in the simulation.
The presentation shows both the technical implementation of this tool coupling and an outlook on future use cases.
