adletec IT-Solutions provides intelligent out-of-the-box solutions for automotive manufacturers, suppliers, scientists and racing teams. Based on the requirements of a driving simulation with audio feedback, adletec developed the official audio module for CarMaker: SoundMaker Professional. This add-on module comes with a full-fledged OpenAL 3D audio engine with real-time audio-sink adjustment, IPGMovie integration and network support.
cosin scientific software develops the leading software FTire (Flexible Structure Tire Model), a fully physics-based non-linear 3D tire model. Combined with various road models and flexible rim models as well as a powerful toolbox for processing tire and road data, FTire is the most comprehensive software package for tire dynamics simulation. As part of the partnership with IPG Automotive, an interface between FTire and IPG Automotive’s CarMaker and TruckMaker has been developed that enables the versatile use of highly accurate tires in various virtual road testing applications. This seamless approach offers a wide range of use cases such as ADAS/AD development.
Elektrobit and IPG Automotive collaborate on linking EB Assist ADTF (Automotive Data and Time-Triggered Framework) with the CarMaker product family, enabling efficient development processes for ADAS and automated driving functions, from the first virtual prototypes up to field testing.

Simulink is a block diagram environment used to design systems with multidomain models, simulate before moving to hardware, and deploy without writing code. RoadRunner is an interactive editor that lets you design 3D scenes and scenarios for simulating and testing automated driving systems.
UNIGINE is a global company focusing on real-time 3D technologies that offers powerful B2B and B2C simulation solutions, visualizations, research, video games, virtual reality systems and much more. UNIGINE's proprietary 3D visualization system has earned the company international recognition. 3D Mapping Solutions GmbH is one of the leading experts in the field of high-precision kinematic surveying of public roads, proving grounds, racetracks and road surfaces of any kind. Within the partnership with IPG Automotive, high-precision reference maps are created for CarMaker from measurements by 3D Mapping Solutions, to serve as a basis for vehicle dynamics and ADAS development as well as testing and validation of autonomous driving applications.

The GNSS-based inertial system ADMA was developed especially for vehicle dynamics analysis and ADAS.
Combining their products PreSense and CarMaker, HEAD acoustics and IPG Automotive offer you a comprehensive, interactive acoustic vehicle simulation. It enables you to experience NVH performance in early development phases based on simulation data (CAE), measurement data (sound and vibration) and transfer path analyses (TPA). The result is a realistic binaural reproduction. It also offers the possibility to model complex powertrain concepts of, e.g., HEV vehicles. At the same time, PreSense Drive is a variant specially tailored to driving simulators. Keysight Technologies is the world's leading electronic measurement company. Keysight’s innovative solutions help the automotive industry to develop and manufacture high-quality products. In a joint partnership, Keysight, IPG Automotive and other partners are developing the open platform ADE (Autonomous Drive Emulation) for scenario-based stimulation of vehicle sensors and V2X components. With this platform, autonomous driving functions can be validated under realistic conditions in the lab.
KS Engineers and IPG Automotive have partnered to optimally integrate the CarMaker Testbed software as well as the Xpack4 real-time hardware in powertrain test beds from KS Engineers and to couple them with KS’s real-time systems. The partnership involves both carrying out coordinated customer-specific fittings and developing efficient test methods on test beds as part of joint projects.
ONO SOKKI has a wide range of test bench systems for automobile development. In particular, we focus on the HIL bench system consisting of actual machines and simulations. Karlsruhe-based companies PTV Group and IPG Automotive offer a holistic solution for driving simulation with realistic traffic environment. This is made possible by a specially developed interface which enables the connection between PTV Group’s traffic simulation software PTV Vissim and IPG Automotive’s CarMaker product family.

The integration of the Spirent C-V2X Testing Solution with the open integration and test platform CarMaker enables the efficient performance, compliance, and functional validation of C-V2X systems.
By simulating complex, real-world scenarios, this solution simplifies the reproduction of challenging radio frequency (RF) environments. It allows for the combination of multiple mobile radio, satellite navigation signals (GNSS), and channel modulations for automotive applications, with several transmitters assigned to different vehicles. Spirent’s multi-frequency, multi-GNSS simulation systems generate GNSS RF signals based on position data, delivering them to the virtual prototype. This ensures reliable and efficient simulation models, helping to accelerate the validation of safety-critical ADAS applications.
Stähle GmbH is a leading global provider of test-cell and proving ground robot drivers for precise, reproducible and automated testing of vehicles and vehicle components. Designed for seamless use, the software “STAEHLE DRIVERMODULE” as well as the “AUTOPILOT GUI” serve to perform development, exhaust gas and homologation driving cycles. In collaboration with IPG Automotive, a direct high-performance tool interface with the CarMaker product family was developed. In this way, the same cycle driver with his different human driving styles can be used consistently in all development stages (MIL, SIL, HIL and testbed), as it is used with the driving robot on the chassis dynamometer and on proving ground.
Synopsys Silver™ is a Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) solution to create and run electronic digital twins via virtual ECUs (vECUs). It provides an early, scalable, cost-effective and deterministic simulation platform for ECU development, functional test and validation.
The combination of CarMarker from IPG Automotive and vECUs developed with Silver enables software architects, function developers and application engineers to develop and validate ECU production code in a full virtual vehicle environment with realistic driving conditions and environment simulation.

tracetronic develops tools for test automation and efficient validation of automotive software. The tracetronic toolchain with ecu.test, trace.check and test.guide makes it possible to automatically execute, evaluate and graphically analyze scenario-based tests with the CarMaker product family from IPG Automotive. Our latest tool, scenario.architect, also supports the creation of scenarios in the OpenScenario XML format and the specification of test content. When the tracetronic tools are linked together, they achieve maximum impact as an Automotive DevOps Platform. With consistent workflows and highly functional interfaces for the flexible connection of further tools, we see the Automotive DevOps Platform as a collaborative platform for all stakeholders in the DevOps process of vehicle development. AB Dynamics and IPG Automotive entered into a technological partnership for the accelerated development of advanced driving systems. The aim of the partnership is achieved by improving the use of CarMaker on the advanced Vehicle Driving Simulator (aVDS) specifically designed for driver-in-the-loop development of road vehicles. Furthermore, the partnership focuses on optimizing and converting data generated from the SPMM 5000 vehicle K&C test machine which allows accurate measurement of center of gravity and moments of inertia for vehicles and vehicle components.

Ansible Motion DIL simulators are used by automotive and research organizations around the globe to place real people into direct contact with imagined vehicles, on-board systems and situations. Our DIL simulators are designed, built and developed at our factory and R&D Centre in Hethel, England. The cooperation between IPG Automotive and Ansible Motion aims at using CarMaker vehicle models on DIL simulators from Ansible Motion.
APL GmbH from Landau has been successfully collaborating with its customers for over three decades to develop advanced technologies for tomorrow's mobility. The focus lies not only on pioneering propulsion systems but also on the integration of driver assistance systems, software development and validation, as well as seamless networking. The increasing demands on emissions, energy efficiency, consumption, and range make precise system verification indispensable. In collaboration with IPG Automotive and the integration platform CarMaker, systems are tested and continuously optimized on HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) test benches in a closed loop under realistic conditions. This allows APL to ensure that the combination of software and hardware functions optimally, meeting the highest standards for efficiency, safety and sustainability.
aSR offers solutions to test and experience ADAS and autonomous driving in virtual test drives. A consistent virtual prototype is generated by connecting simulation models from different development areas. The vehicle software can be tested directly in simulation, which speeds up the development process and reduces the need for physical prototypes. The human element plays an increasingly important role for the acceptance of ADAS and AD functions. To include this factor into virtual test drives, aSR additionally offers a professional and compact driving simulator.

The Research Institute for Automotive Engineering and Powertrain Systems Stuttgart (FKFS) is an independent research institute and development partner of the international automotive industry with highly specialized test benches, testing facilities and excellent know-how. As part of the partnership with IPG Automotive, CarMaker is used for many online and offline simulations in the areas of ADAS and automated driving, chassis system control, driving dynamics and powertrain. In order to make a subjective assessment of the characteristics, CarMaker is also used in the Stuttgart driving simulator.
Fujisoft is an independent IT solution vendor founded in 1970. In recent years, the company has formed a partnership with IPG Automotive. The company provides simulation environments, offers support and adapts CarMaker to the specific models of OEMs and suppliers. Fujisoft has development experience in emerging fields of technology including autonomous vehicles, EV and V2X communication, but also in established fields such as ADAS, powertrain, chassis and IVI. The company can therefore provide a multitude of technologies for automotive software development.
Hexagon Software is the developer of ADAMS (Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical Systems), the multibody dynamics simulation solution. IPG Automotive and Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence division have entered into a technology partnership for collaborating on the seamless conversion of ADAMS model data into CarMaker model data.
nVIZ develops solutions for test drives in virtual reality. CarMaker is integrated into the nVIZ’s compact driving simulator to simulate physically correct vehicle dynamics in real time and to develop ADAS and automated driving functions.

Managing the huge and constantly increasing amount of simulation data is an increasing challenge for large-scale usage of virtual test driving. To help solving the challenge of global engineering collaboration and traceability using centrally managed, structured and qualified data, PDTec is working with IPG Automotive to develop and provide a data management solution for CarMaker: SDM4CM.

ASAM e.V. is a non-profit organization that promotes standardization in automotive development, testing, validation and diagnostics. ASAM ‘accelerates engineering for mobility’ by providing a platform and bringing experts together to agree on standards, exchange information and to allow collaboration in a legal and anti-trust compliant way.
IPG Automotive is part of this organization and we concentrate on the topics related to the standardization of scenario-based testing. In particular, we focus on standards such as ASAM OpenSCENARIO, ASAM OpenDRIVE or ASAM OpenMATERIAL, in which we are actively involved in the respective project groups in order to drive the development of the standards forward.

The activities of the Commercial Vehicle Cluster are aimed at establishing southwest Germany and Rhinland-Palatinate in particular, as a leading center of excellence for the commercial vehicle industry.
CVC Nutzfahrzeug GmbH, based in Kaiserslautern, operates the cluster management of the Commercial Vehicle Cluster. The cluster currently comprises around 90 partners, who are mainly assigned to the sub-sectors of trucks, agricultural and construction machinery. Since March 2008, the cluster initiative has been organized as a limited liability company (GmbH) in the form of a Public Private Partnership between the Daimler Truck AG, John Deere-Lanz Verwaltungs-GmbH, Grammer AG, IAV GmbH Ingenieurgesellschaft Auto und Verkehr, ITK Engineering GmbH and the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
