Your responsibilities:
• Planning, carrying out and completing client projects on a national and international level
• Expanding functions and adapting models for client projects within the context of the ongoing technical progress in the fields of driver assistance and electrification
• Analysing customer processes and requirements as well as developing solutions based on our tools by adjusting them to meet customer project requirements
• Involved in pre-sales activities and Proof of Concept projects towards new and existing customers
• Supporting and performing long-term development and research projects with a focus on driver assistance and automated driving functions
Your profile (Essential):
• Bachelors degree or higher, preferably in Mechatronics, Software/Computer or Mechanical Engineering or a comparable qualification
• Experience in at least one of the following fields; automotive simulation; automotive control units; driver assistance systems; sensors; simulation-technology
• Programming skills in MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C; familiar with both Windows and Linux; exposure to software development related tools such as Jira, SVN, GitHub
• This position requires independent problem solving and decision making with only broad direction given on assignments
• Good humoured, proactive personality with high levels of initiative and integrity
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork skills
Additional preferred experience:
• Understanding Software architecture, tool couplings, co-simulation (FMI, Simulink, OSI), APIs, different communication protocols (e.g. CAN, EtherCAT)
