Improved Scenario Editor: Import options
Advanced .kml file import allows for usage of multiple routes as point lists, easy editability and route separation via offset function. Generate routes faster and with less effort.
New HD Scenario: City tunnel
A city tunnel scenario with difficult lighting conditions, emergency bays, inner tunnel junctions, road works and accidents allows to test edge cases.
New 3D models
Various new 3D models such as tipper semi-trailer, Ford Bronco, etc. are available. Combined with the possibility to integrate custom vehicle models in Movie NX, you can model your simulation individually.
OpenSCENARIO Converter 13.0.0
A strong integration of the OpenSCENARIO standard is the basis for a continuous toolchain. OpenSCENARIO Converter 13.0.0 now supports OpenSCENARIO versions 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2, is additionally integrated into the CarMaker 13 main GUI and significantly improves scenario usage.
VR headset support
As an optional feature, Movie NX now supports the VR headsets HTC VIVE Cosmos Elite and Meta Quest Pro. For a full immersion into virtual test driving!
Improved suspension model
Improved wheel suspension model classes allow the connection of same or different suspension elements, thus optimizing the workflow when implementing active suspension elements. An additional option to model the damper top mounts enables even more accurate suspension simulations.
Hydraulic model with integrated power brake
The new hydraulic power brake architecture includes an electric motor and the driven pressure booster. This allows more in-depth investigations on the braking behavior of your system.
Configurable ground truth sensor
The development of AV and ADAS applications requires the reliable, modular, flexible and powerful generation of ground truth data. We have continuously developed our sensor model and now also support the detection of static scenery objects.
Extension of GPU coding interface
The physical sensor API to integrate user-specific signal processing now has an additional access point. This enables the direct output of all impact points of emitted beams, their manipulation according to individual requirements and further processing.
CarMaker Office Extended
Test specific ECU hardware in your office environment now, no need for a full-blown HIL environment! CarMaker Office Extended enables real-time simulation and offers a cost-efficient all-in-one solution.
Flexible IPGDriver model
Our restructured and modularized IPGDriver model can be parameterized independently from the test run and thus allows to consider different driver profiles, e.g. in powertrain applications, and increases flexibility in testing.
