ESP-in-the-Loop - Electronic stability program

ESP-in-the-Loop

The ESP-in-the-Loop is a HIL test bench designed specially to test and validate ESP ECU applications. Electronic stability programs (ESP) can be tested and optimized quickly and easily using a plug-in box for ESC ECU, EPB ECU and motorized brake calipers, as well as a signal acquisition box adapted to all hydraulic ESP interfaces to measure valve activities.

Functions

  • Motorized brake caliper simulator
  • ESP test ware catalog for ESP validation
  • ECU diagnostic
  • Fail Safe Tester for fail-safe testing according to ISO 26262

Applications

  • Validation of ESP functions up to the stability limits of vehicle dynamics
  • ABS, ASR, MSR, trailer stability control, etc.
  • Sizing and calibration of ESP ECU
  • Simulation-based ESC homologation according to ECE R13-11 and ECE R13-H
  • Validation of redundant braking system for fully automated driving
  • Validation of regenerative braking system
  • Validation of threshold consumption

Technical Data

  • ESP plug-in test box for hardware and software integration
  • Compatible with CarMaker/HIL test benches
  • ESP SA box adapted to all ESP setups
